EESS (ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING SOCIETY OF SINGAPORE )

EESS is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization. Established in 1978, it is financed by member subscriptions and by specialist activities such as offering specialized short courses, seminars, and workshops.

There are four categories of membership: individual, associate, sponsor company and student. Members come from all professions connected with environmental control. Sponsor company members are organizations amongst who are consultants, manufacturers, engineering contractors, equipment manufacturers, suppliers and other firms doing business in environmental control.



EESS aims:

To provide its members with access to a communication network of newsletter/publications, seminars, workshops and conferences.

To provide its members with the opportunity to interact with professionals from all areas within the environmental pollution control industry – scientists, engineers, managers and administrators and their expertise covers the full range of environmental topics.

To organize specialized seminars, workshops and conferences at a regular interval and these forms the backbone of the Society’s continuing education program.

EESS is an active membership organization dedicated to the professional advancement of the science and practice of environmental pollution control. EESS is active locally and internationally through its national memberships with the following international organizations:

International Water Association (IWA)
International Union of Air Pollution Prevention Association (IUAPPA)
International Institute of Noise Control Engineering (I-INCE)
Water Environmental Federation (WEF)
